I received a call from DFCS today but it wasn't the news that I have been longing for. Neither of the two men called that I emailed. Instead they had someone else call and apologize and give excuses. Mrs. So and So has been sick, Christmas holidays...yada, yada, yada.
I was nice. It was hard.
I tried calling the social worker on the West Coast but I got her voicemail. Maybe this situation isn't meant to be but I'm not giving up just yet. My friend, Robin, says something to the effect that God may close doors but He may still leave open a window. So with that being said, I'm going to keep on keeping on until I have exhausted all avenues.
